Mathematics Teacher – Full-Time

About the role

Escuela Santa María del Valle is seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join its secondary education team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging math lessons, foster critical thinking, and support a diverse student body in a student‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver challenging mathematics lessons that promote active learning.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere focused on student success.
• Develop students’ logical reasoning, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
• Adapt instruction to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities and learning styles.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and support holistic student development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Math Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or equivalent pedagogical qualification.
• Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level; AP experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and classroom‑management abilities.
