Operations Specialist

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a motivated Operations Specialist to coordinate driver dispatch, monitor shipments, and ensure efficient freight movement across North America. You will work closely with drivers, internal teams, and customers to maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers for freight pickups and deliveries, optimizing routes.
• Monitor shipment progress and driver locations using communication tools and mapping software.
• Provide customers with shipment status updates and help resolve freight‑related issues.
• Adjust daily routes based on traffic, operational needs, or customer requirements.
• Enter and update load information in internal systems and customer portals.
• Assist drivers with routing guidance and ensure proper execution of freight procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve operational challenges.
• Maintain compliance with dispatch procedures, operational standards, and safety protocols.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree.
• Previous logistics or customer service experience is an asset.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Excellent time‑management, prioritization, and multitasking capabilities.
• Fluency in English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
