Pricing Specialist

About the role

Crowley is seeking a Pricing Specialist to lead the development of profitable and competitive rates for inbound and outbound shipments. The role supports both domestic and international customers, working closely with distribution centers, warehouses, and partner companies.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain competitive rate structures for various commodities.
• Review cost data and marketing information to formulate rate offerings.
• Negotiate pricing and rates with customers and vendors.
• Analyze and qualify vendors, and negotiate service contracts.
• Develop cost models and conduct project analyses.
• Oversee company interests in coordination with shipper requirements.
• Make decisions on rates and rules within established guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary coursework or job‑related training preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation/Logistics strongly desired.
• 2–3 years of education and/or experience in the transportation industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
