Process Improvement Analyst

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a motivated Process Improvement Analyst to join its San Pedro Sula office. You will work with operational data to reduce trailer downtime, manage equipment claims, and support continuous improvement across the fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze trailer damage trends, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Track Out‑of‑Service (OOS) equipment, produce daily performance reports, and monitor repair timelines.
• Use advanced Excel functions to manage costs, claims status, and recovery reporting.
• Investigate damage liability through incident records and repair documentation.
• Prepare and submit repair cost reimbursement claims with accurate supporting documents.
• Build dashboards and reports to visualize fleet utilization, damage frequency, and claims recovery.
• Collaborate with terminals, repair shops, and breakdown teams to improve repair turnaround times.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working with operational data and reporting.
• High attention to detail and ability to spot trends, anomalies, and cost drivers.
• Experience managing claims, invoices, or reconciliations.
• Background in fleet, logistics, transportation, or maintenance operations (preferred).
• Knowledge of claims management and liability investigation (preferred).

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF statements, data validation).
• Power BI or similar reporting tools (preferred).
