Project Manager – Software Development (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight is a leading software consultancy focused on designing and developing innovative technology that enhances users' lives. The company is expanding across the United States and Central/South America and seeks a skilled Project Manager to join its rapidly growing, remote team. You will contribute to challenging, high‑impact projects while working in a collaborative, learning‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end software development projects, overseeing scope, budget, resources and timelines across multiple workstreams.
• Deliver against fixed, immovable external deadlines such as product launches and trade shows, using critical‑path and buffer management.
• Maintain client dependency registers, risk registers and change‑control processes, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.
• Coordinate third‑party vendor contracts, credentials and integration timelines.
• Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and provide milestone‑based status reporting to clients and executives.
• Utilize project‑management tools such as Jira and Asana to track progress and communicate updates.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
• Proven ability to meet fixed external deadlines and manage critical‑path schedules.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including translating technical concepts for non‑technical clients and executives.
• Ability to overlap US business hours and work effectively with distributed engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Extreme ownership, accountability and a positive, can‑do attitude.
