Regional Manager, Maintenance

About the role

The Regional Manager, Maintenance will lead maintenance operations across the assigned region, ensuring reliability, safety and cost‑effectiveness of assets such as chassis, containers and generators. This strategic role supports business growth, operational excellence and high‑level customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional maintenance strategy, policies and standards.
• Manage maintenance budget, P&L, forecasting, capital planning and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to improve equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations and performance management for repair, leasing and service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements and promote a strong safety culture.
• Lead, coach and develop maintenance managers, supervisors and technical teams, handling talent development and performance management.
• Oversee capital projects, equipment modernization and implementation of new maintenance technologies.
• Partner with Operations, Marine, Terminal and Transportation teams to provide regional operational support.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in maintenance operations.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and manage large‑scale projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
