Senior Backend Engineer – Identity Platform

About the role

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Identity Platform, you will design and implement critical authorization services that power multiple downstream systems. You will work with Ruby on Rails to create secure, scalable APIs and ensure reliable authentication and authorization across modern and legacy identity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build authorization services and API middleware in Ruby on Rails for various downstream applications.
• Design and implement secure integrations using modern identity standards such as Auth0, SAML, OIDC, enterprise SSO, and SCIM.
• Migrate legacy authorization models to modern, secure architectures.
• Maintain backend services that are reliable, secure, and scalable.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Experience designing secure integrations with Auth0, PostgreSQL, SAML, OIDC, enterprise SSO, and SCIM.
• Background in migrating legacy authorization models to modern identity architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
