Senior HR Generalist

About the role

Crescendo, an AI‑powered solutions company, is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support its Tegucigalpa hub. You will act as the primary link between employees, managers, and the People Operations team, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and align with local regulations and company culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR guidance on policies, benefits, payroll, the Employee Handbook, and engagement initiatives.
• Independently manage employee‑relations cases, including grievances, performance issues, disciplinary actions, and workplace conflicts, while ensuring proper documentation and compliance with Honduran labor law.
• Facilitate and document disciplinary meetings, investigations, and conflict‑resolution conversations, escalating high‑risk matters to HR leadership as needed.
• Coach managers on performance management, documentation, difficult conversations, and consistent application of policies.
• Support interactions with the Honduran Ministry of Labor and other authorities, preparing documentation and attending required meetings.
• Drive wellness, culture, and engagement programs through focus groups, skip‑level conversations, and other listening mechanisms.
• Analyze trends in employee relations, attendance, performance, and engagement to provide actionable insights.

Required profile

• Several years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a senior generalist capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Honduran labor legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to handle complex employee‑relations issues with discretion and sound judgment.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills for supporting people leaders.
