Senior IT Leader

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Leader to shape our technology strategy and provide executive‑level advisory support. The role focuses on IT strategy, governance, cybersecurity, cloud adoption, and vendor management, working closely with senior leadership to define priorities and long‑term roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a multi‑year IT strategy and technology roadmap.
• Define and execute a strategic roadmap for Microsoft 365 and Azure, including short‑ and long‑term initiatives.
• Guide Azure cost optimization, cloud spending, and FinOps practices.
• Provide strategic oversight of cybersecurity, risk, compliance, backup, and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Establish IT governance frameworks, policies, decision‑making processes and escalation procedures.
• Advise executive leadership on technology architecture, major initiatives and vendor solutions.
• Serve as senior point of contact for key technology vendors and managed service providers, overseeing performance, contracts, licensing and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate change governance and deliver risk‑based recommendations for significant technology changes.
• Prepare executive‑level reports, assessments and regular updates on the technology roadmap.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership or consulting experience.
• Previous senior IT leadership role (e.g., IT Director, CIO, VP of IT).
• Proven experience developing and executing IT strategies and roadmaps.
• Strong communication skills with ability to present technical information to executives.
• Analytical, strategic and problem‑solving capabilities.
