Senior Python Developer – AI Integrations

About the role

Devsu is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to design, develop, and support integration services, APIs, middleware, and automation capabilities that enable AI‑powered business solutions. The role focuses on building scalable enterprise integrations that allow AI agents and business applications to securely interact with internal and external systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and troubleshoot production REST APIs and integration services.
• Build and enhance Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Develop middleware services connecting AI platforms with enterprise applications and data sources.
• Create automation capabilities that streamline business processes and AI‑assisted workflows.
• Collaborate with solution architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to define scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Python expertise.
• Proven experience designing and delivering production REST APIs.
• Ability to understand business outcomes, identify assumptions, and make sound technical judgments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
