Senior Software QA Engineer

About the role

Ginih is looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer to drive quality across its product portfolio. You will work closely with development, product and design teams to ensure reliable, well‑validated releases.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the testing strategy for high‑quality, stable deliveries.
• Design, execute and maintain functional, integration, regression, acceptance and requirement validation test cases.
• Analyze requirements, identify critical scenarios and anticipate risks before production.
• Document defects clearly with reproduction steps, evidence, impact and expected results.
• Track defects to resolution and validate fixes.
• Collaborate with development, product and design to embed quality early in the lifecycle.
• Define acceptance criteria, quality controls and QA best practices.
• Perform smoke and regression testing for deployment stability.
• Validate APIs, integrations and critical platform flows.
• Contribute to test automation strategy and CI/CD quality processes.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
• Strong manual testing expertise and test case design.
• Ability to analyze requirements, prioritize risks and assess functional and technical impact.
• Experience documenting, reporting and managing defects in a structured way.
• Good communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Organized, autonomous and capable of following critical tasks to completion.

Required skills

• Playwright, Cypress or Selenium for test automation.
• Postman, Insomnia or similar tools for API testing.
• Git and collaborative workflow knowledge.
• Jira or comparable issue‑tracking systems.
• Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• CI/CD pipeline experience.
• BDD concepts, Gherkin or Cucumber.
