Specialist, Partnerships & Organisational Development, Latin America

About the role

Fauna & Flora is seeking a Specialist in Partnerships & Organisational Development to strengthen its core conservation partners across Honduras, Nicaragua and Belize. Based in Honduras, you will work closely with the UK‑based Partnerships team and regional programme staff to build effective collaborations that support local communities and biodiversity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with government bodies, coastal communities, NGOs, private sector partners, universities, regional networks and donors.
• Coordinate partnership activities with the UK Partnerships & Organisational Development team and regional programme teams.
• Support and strengthen local organisations to enhance their capacity for conservation work.
• Facilitate community involvement in conservation projects and ensure alignment with Fauna & Flora’s mission.
• Monitor and report on partnership performance and outcomes.

Required profile

• Excellent communicator with proven ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Commitment to supporting local organisations and community‑based conservation.
• Fluent oral skills in both Spanish and English, with strong written ability in at least one language.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders in the environmental or development sector is desirable.
