Transportation Coordinator

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a motivated Transportation Coordinator to join its growing team. You will be responsible for managing driver dispatch, route planning, and shipment monitoring to ensure timely and efficient freight movement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers for freight pickups and deliveries while optimizing routes.
• Monitor shipment progress and driver locations using communication tools and mapping software.
• Provide customers with shipment status updates and help resolve freight‑related issues.
• Adjust daily routes based on traffic, operational needs, or customer requirements.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment data in internal systems and customer portals.
• Assist drivers with routing guidance and ensure compliance with freight procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address operational challenges and maintain service quality.
• Analyze transportation planning opportunities to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree.
• Previous logistics or customer service experience is an asset.
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Excellent time‑management and multitasking skills.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
