Transportation Operations Analyst

About the role

Charger logistics Inc. is seeking a motivated Transportation Operations Analyst to join its San Pedro Sula office. You will support the operations team by ensuring compliance with hazmat labeling, coordinating maintenance, and managing vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Assist operations with truck and trailer hazmat labeling to avoid regulatory infractions.
• Obtain, review, and approve repair estimates in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to track breakdown resolution times.
• Answer driver calls regarding equipment maintenance and coordinate service scheduling.
• Identify warrantable repairs, file claims with vendors or manufacturers, and locate the nearest repair facility.
• Maintain communication with customers, vendors, dispatch, and maintenance departments to ensure orderly repairs and timely updates.
• Track resolution time frames and relay service disruptions or route changes to dispatch.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary diploma preferred.
• Previous experience as a Service Writer is an asset.
• Ability to generate simple reports using basic software functions or queries.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and truck maintenance/repair.
• Availability to work on either Saturday or Sunday as part of the regular schedule.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 office environment.
