Account Manager – Honduras

About the role
The Account Manager will manage and develop relationships with the company’s client portfolio in Honduras, ensuring close, results‑oriented service. The role involves tracking commercial opportunities, preparing proposals, coordinating meetings and presenting solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales targets.
- Promote and sell the company’s portfolio of solutions, products and services in line with corporate policies and quality standards.
- Stay up‑to‑date with new product versions and complete required partner training.
- Develop strategic plans for each client account.
- Maintain accurate forecast reports and update them in a timely manner.
- Qualify business opportunities according to Grupo RQ requirements.
- Identify opportunities, design proposals with internal experts and coordinate implementation with Solution Architecture, Consulting, PMO or Support teams.
- Act as liaison between the client and PMO, ensuring proper project formulation and delivery of required documentation.
- Create and offer new solution alternatives, consulting and ongoing support.
- Participate in tender processes, preparing technical, financial and legal documentation and ensuring timely submission.
- Foster client loyalty and promote repeat purchases of solutions or maintenance contracts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Account Manager, Account Executive or in a similar client‑development role.
- Strong commercial abilities: negotiation, closing deals, portfolio management and target orientation.
- Proven capacity to build long‑term trusted relationships with clients and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organised, able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with digital and office tools (CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, email and video‑conferencing).
- Technical or university background in marketing, communications or related areas is a plus.
- Initiative, autonomy, continuous‑improvement mindset and collaborative attitude in diverse teams.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Tegucigalpa.
