About the role
This temporary position supports the laboratory of a leading Honduran brewery, ensuring that all products meet strict quality and safety standards. The analyst will work closely with the quality team to perform microbiological testing and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological analyses and take part in sampling programs.
- Report deviations promptly to enable corrective actions.
- Implement and monitor compliance with the laboratory quality plan.
- Authorize product release according to established quality and food‑safety criteria.
- Participate in microbiology, sensory analysis, metrology, and inter‑laboratory activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Basic knowledge of English.
- Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
