Analista Programador Senior – Desarrollo de Software Bancario

About the role

Banco LAFISE is looking for a Senior Analyst Programmer to drive the technology behind its financial services. The professional will lead the full software development lifecycle for banking and group applications, ensuring high‑quality, secure, and efficient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, coding, testing and deployment of applications for the bank and its subsidiaries.
• Maintain coding standards, database normalization and automate processes to reduce response times.
• Design, automate and maintain communication interfaces between servers and clients across multiple platforms.
• Develop applications required by internal units, regulators and group companies.
• Execute rigorous technical testing to prevent operational errors before production release.
• Provide specialized technical support and assist end‑users during operational closures.
• Ensure information security, regulatory compliance (CNBS/Audit) and prevent fraud and money‑laundering.

Required profile

• University degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in application development and programming.
• Hands‑on experience with AS400, Control Language and stored procedures in banking environments.
• Proficiency in high‑ and low‑level languages such as RPG, COBOL, C#, C++.NET, Java, PHP and HTML.
• Knowledge of Visual Studio, databases and API/interface development.
• Familiarity with project methodologies, ITIL V3 or COBIT frameworks and technical English is a plus.
