Auditor Interno

About the role

The Internal Auditor will lead and execute audit activities in line with the CMI audit manual, annual audit plan, and approved best practices. The role ensures audit results are delivered efficiently and supports continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan audits according to the manual, identifying risks and preparing audit guides for manager approval.
• Communicate audit findings clearly to the assigned leader.
• Assist the audit coordinator in obtaining action plans from auditees and ensure timely closure of identified gaps.
• Follow up on action plans, gather evidence, and verify risk mitigation.
• Proactively drive personal development to enhance the internal audit team’s capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Auditing, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in audit processes, preferably in a mass‑consumer environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
• Willingness to travel nationally and work on‑site in San Pedro Sula.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Experience using Power BI and data‑analytics tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and executive‑level presentations.
• Familiarity with audit management software such as TIME (preferred).
