Broadcast/Newsroom Production Technologist (Remote LATAM)

About the role

We are seeking a Broadcast/Newsroom Production Technologist to act as the technical bridge between our client’s platform and leading broadcasters. The position is fully remote within Latin America, with frequent travel to the United States to support implementations, training, and live productions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer workflows and design scalable technical solutions.
• Lead product demonstrations, answer technical questions, and assist with RFPs/RFIs during the pre‑sales process.
• Provide hands‑on support for software installations, implementations, and go‑live events in fast‑paced production environments.
• Support newsroom and broadcast technologies, including computer systems, rundown automation, and IP‑based workflows.
• Own the onboarding process from implementation through successful deployment, coordinating with internal teams to resolve blockers.
• Deliver training sessions for editorial, production, and engineering teams.
• Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication and feedback collection.

Required profile

• Fluent English (minimum C1 level).
• Willingness and legal ability to travel internationally, especially to the United States.
• Experience in broadcast technology, newsroom operations, live production, or broadcast engineering.
• Familiarity with newsroom systems such as iNews or ENPS.
• Self‑driven, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple remote projects.

Required skills

• Knowledge of broadcast workflows, control‑room infrastructure, and automation systems.
• Experience with IP‑based broadcast technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with SMPTE‑2110, EVS, vMix, Singular, and AMPP.
