About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Coffee Taster to join our team and ensure the highest quality of coffee beans across several regions. The role involves detailed physical and sensory analysis, as well as profiling of coffee to meet our standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct physical analysis of coffee beans to assess size, density, and moisture content.
- Perform sensory evaluation, including aroma, flavor, acidity, and body assessment.
- Create detailed coffee profiles and reports for each batch.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to communicate findings.
- Maintain accurate records using office software.
Required profile
- Completed secondary education.
- Certified coffee taster (Catador) with proven experience in physical and sensory coffee analysis.
- Ability to work in the regions of La Labor, Ocotepeque, Chalmeca, and Copán.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Expertise in coffee sensory analysis and profiling.
