About the role
World Vision is seeking a Communications Officer to lead the communication and visibility strategy for its WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) program. The role focuses on turning technical information into compelling stories that inspire audiences, support institutional positioning, advocacy and resource mobilization.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the communication and visibility plan for the WASH program.
- Produce inspiring content that translates technical data into clear, impactful messages.
- Support institutional positioning, advocacy efforts and resource‑mobilization campaigns.
- Manage digital communication channels and ensure consistent branding.
- Travel within the country to capture field stories and coordinate with project teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in social, institutional or development communication.
- Intermediate English proficiency is desirable.
- Willingness to travel domestically and operate a 4x4 vehicle.
- Commitment to World Vision’s zero‑tolerance policy on child protection and abuse.
Required skills
- Proficiency with design and audiovisual tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator, Canva or similar.
- Experience in photography, video production, impact storytelling and digital communication.
