Customer Development Executive

About the role

The Customer Development Executive will represent Colgate‑Palmolive in Tegucigalpa, managing client relationships and driving growth across multiple retail channels. You will develop and execute marketing and sales strategies for various product categories, ensuring profitable sales, improved distribution, and increased market share.

Key responsibilities

• Implement commercial strategies across wholesalers, independent supermarkets, mini‑markets and traditional stores.
• Achieve sales, share and margin objectives for the assigned territory.
• Prepare, negotiate and execute joint business plans, marketing and promotional campaigns.
• Visit stores to monitor implementation, gather insights and optimise future approaches.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers, present samples, and manage price changes.
• Handle administrative tasks such as credit notes, rebates, and compliance with credit policies.
• Monitor competitor activities and relay opportunities to the commercial team.
• Manage customer inventory, from order taking to delivery tracking, ensuring product availability on shelves.
