Data Engineer (Python, AWS, DBT) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with US‑based clients. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver reliable data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines and transformation workflows using DBT.
• Integrate data from various sources with Airbyte and develop ingestion processes.
• Work with the AWS data stack (S3, Lambda, Step Functions) to store and process data at scale.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs in production environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Linux CLI and GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to code libraries.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Strong experience with Python for data processing and automation.
• Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL data modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with DBT, Airbyte and the AWS data stack.
• Experience developing production‑grade RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Docker, Linux command line and GitHub Actions.
• Preferred experience with healthcare‑related data.
