DevOps Engineer (Azure + On-Premise) – Remote

About the role

Join FullStackFullStack's talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients as a DevOps Engineer focused on Azure cloud and on‑premise infrastructure. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers on complex, large‑scale systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters.
• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Support on‑premise data‑center operations, virtualization (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V).
• Automate infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (Zabbix, Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• Apply security hardening, SIEM integration, and vulnerability scanning.
• Plan disaster recovery and manage automated backups.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to internal libraries.

Required profile

• 4+ years professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree (four‑year college).
• Proven track record with Kubernetes, Azure, and on‑premise virtualization.
• Strong Linux administration (Ubuntu or Talos) and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Solid understanding of networking, databases, and distributed storage.
• Experience with monitoring, security, and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Ability to solve complex issues, take extreme ownership, and work independently.
