Dispatch Coordinator – Afternoon Shift

About the role

Charger Logistics Inc., a world‑class asset‑based carrier, is expanding its team in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The Dispatch Coordinator will work the afternoon shift (2:00 pm – 12:00 am, Friday to Monday) to coordinate and optimise delivery schedules, communicate with mobile units, and ensure timely, safe deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispatching pending loads, schedule drivers, and coordinate pick‑up and delivery operations.
• Modify daily routes to meet customer needs, monitor road conditions, and establish new routes when necessary.
• Communicate freight requirements and procedures to drivers, provide routing directions, and support problem resolution across teams.
• Update customer web portals with load information, pull load forecasts, and enforce safety procedures.
• Analyse transportation planning opportunities to reduce costs and manage trailer pool placement.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer‑service roles, preferably in logistics.
• Strong problem‑solving, time‑management, and multitasking abilities.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Aptitude to learn new software and systems, including mapping tools.
