About the role

The Demand Planning Specialist will analyze historical sales, demand, and inventory data to produce accurate forecasts and actionable recommendations that support procurement, supply, and overall business planning.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sales and demand history to create forecasts that guide business planning.
• Identify trends, consumption patterns, and seasonality that affect demand.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and investigate deviations between projected and actual results.
• Generate reports and key performance indicators for strategic decision‑making.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations to optimize inventory levels and supply.
• Collaborate with commercial, purchasing, and logistics teams to align projections with business needs.
• Assess risks and opportunities linked to market demand changes.
• Participate in continuous improvement of planning methodologies, tools, and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in demand analysis, planning, inventory management, supply chain or similar roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with databases.
• Proven experience analyzing sales history and demand behavior.
• Knowledge of forecasting techniques, projection models, and statistical analysis.
• Ability to detect trends, consumption patterns, and seasonality.
• Experience evaluating forecast deviations versus actual outcomes.
