Field Service Technician

About the role

The Field Service Technician installs, debugs and maintains ATM, retail and other equipment at customer sites. You will ensure products operate correctly, perform minor repairs, and provide training to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, debug and provide technical maintenance for hardware and software on customer premises.
• Handle incidents using diagnostic tools, perform detailed hardware and software troubleshooting, and execute component‑level repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, routine checks, and consumable refills according to documented procedures.
• Perform IMAC/R tasks – install, move, add, change or remove hardware and software.
• Train customers on the use and operation of installed equipment.
• Complete service paperwork, schedule visits, and keep customers informed of status and outcomes.
• Report technical or process issues and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of relevant field service experience or an equivalent education/experience mix.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company fleet requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools for hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform hardware repairs at the component level.
• Experience configuring and installing software applications.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and consumable refilling.
• Familiarity with IMAC/R processes.
• Capability to deliver customer training on equipment operation.
