Forward Deployed Engineer (Python + AI) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStack is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who will embed with enterprise clients, identify AI‑driven opportunities, design and ship production‑grade agentic systems, and stay through day‑2 operations. This remote role serves regulated industries and Fortune 500 customers across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops with business, data, and engineering stakeholders to surface real AI problems and assess data readiness.
• Architect end‑to‑end agentic solutions, including retrieval pipelines, hybrid search, knowledge graphs, and human‑in‑the‑loop guardrails.
• Build and ship production agents, retrieval services, and evaluation tooling; own CI/CD, prompt versioning, and automated testing.
• Operate day‑2 systems: monitor grounding, retrieval metrics, cost, latency, drift, and handoff to client teams.
• Present designs and impact to C‑level leaders and support pre‑sales scoping when needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a mainstream stack (Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, C#/.NET, or Go).
• 1–4 years delivering production AI solutions, LLM workflows, and RAG architectures.
• Advanced English and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience leading client‑facing discovery calls and translating business problems into technical solutions.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with AI developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or OpenAI Codex.
• Familiarity with agentic orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, N8N, or Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, event‑driven architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to design and implement retrieval architectures (chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, reranking, permissions‑aware retrieval).
