Freelance Mechanical BIM Specialist – Global Projects

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Mechanical BIM Specialist to support high‑quality BIM model development for global engineering and construction projects. You will work remotely, creating detailed mechanical system models in Revit and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet client requirements and BIM standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mechanical systems models (HVAC, ductwork, piping, sheet metal, equipment) using Revit.
• Ensure models are delivered at LOD 350 and align with project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to coordinate BIM data.
• Perform BIM coordination, clash detection, and issue resolution.
• Contribute to conceptual design and BIM‑assist design phases.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering degree.
• 3+ years of experience using Revit on BIM projects.
• Advanced Revit knowledge and proven mechanical BIM modeling experience.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency and ability to communicate daily in English.
• Immediate availability and own computer/laptop for remote work.
