About the role

One World Surgery is seeking a Hospitality Manager to lead the visitor centre and support medical missions in Honduras. The role oversees a team of about 13 staff, ensures a welcoming environment for volunteers and visitors, and manages day‑to‑day operations of the Moscati Center.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the hospitality team, handling recruitment, training, scheduling and performance development.
• Oversee menu planning, meal preparation, visitor‑center set‑up and clean‑up for mission trips and events.
• Ensure visitor and volunteer safety, manage incident reporting and monitor entry‑requirement changes.
• Develop and manage the annual visitor‑center budget, track expenses, and look for cost‑saving opportunities.
• Coordinate facility repairs, routine maintenance and inventory management.

Required profile

• University degree in hospitality, tourism, international relations or a related field (preferred).
• At least 2 years of personnel management experience, including budget management.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written).
• Driver’s licence and personal vehicle (preferred) and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Passion for One World Surgery’s mission and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
