About the role
World Vision Honduras is looking for a Gestor/a de Desarrollo Integral to be based in La Virtud, Lempira. The position will help vulnerable children and families by planning and coordinating community‑development activities, mobilising local volunteers and applying participatory approaches. World Vision operates in nearly 100 countries with more than 31,000 staff and is committed to child protection, equality of opportunity and its Christian‑based mission.
Required profile
- University or technical degree in Social Sciences, Pedagogy, Agronomy or a related discipline.
- Minimum two years of experience in community volunteer management and local development projects.
- Willingness to reside in the designated area of influence.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motorcycle.
Required skills
- Proficiency in participatory methodologies with children, adolescents and youth.
- Capability to lead community‑based initiatives and engage local stakeholders effectively.
