About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Community Development Manager to design, implement, and monitor integral development programs for vulnerable children and families in San Andrés, Lempira. The role focuses on strengthening local organizations, fostering volunteer networks, and promoting holistic well‑being for children.

Key responsibilities

• Implement community development programs and projects.
• Strengthen local community organizations and churches.
• Promote participation and comprehensive well‑being of children.
• Manage and support volunteer networks and change agents.
• Monitor results, document achievements, and drive innovative community initiatives.

Required profile

• University or technical degree in Social Sciences, Pedagogy, Agronomy or related fields.
• Experience in community development, social‑fabric strengthening, and volunteer mobilization.
• Knowledge of project formulation, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Facilitation skills for participatory processes with children, adolescents and communities.
• Proficiency with technological tools and digital communication.
• Willingness to reside and travel within the area of influence.
• Valid motorcycle driver’s license.
