HR & Legal Coordinator – Employee Relations & Investigations

About the role

Charger logistics Inc., a leading asset‑based carrier, is seeking an HR & Legal Coordinator to manage employee relations, conduct internal investigations, and support labor‑related legal matters. This hands‑on position works closely with HR, operations, and management to assess risks, document cases, and ensure timely resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee‑relations and labor‑related cases from initial review through resolution.
• Conduct internal investigations of misconduct, policy violations, workplace incidents, and claims.
• Collect, review, and analyze evidence such as statements, incident reports, CCTV footage, and communications.
• Interview employees, supervisors, and other stakeholders involved in investigations.
• Prepare investigation reports, case summaries, timelines, and supporting documentation.
• Recommend disciplinary actions and ensure cases are documented within established timelines.
• Maintain confidential case files and coordinate with HR, Operations, Safety, Claims, and Compliance.
• Provide guidance on labor law, company policies, and disciplinary procedures.
• Represent the company before the Ministry of Labor and other governmental authorities, and attend hearings or conciliations as needed.
• Prepare legal documentation and coordinate with external counsel when specialized support is required.

Required profile

• Experience in HR case management, internal investigations, and employee‑relations support.
• Strong knowledge of labor law and ability to advise management on compliance matters.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and handle confidential information.
