Ingeniero - DDP

About the role

The Engineer – DDP will support the development of new and existing sewing and packaging accessories for Gildan’s apparel brands. The role works closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure specifications, testing and delivery meet global quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and enforce Global Quality System (GQS) requirements for accessory development.
• Develop and run performance tests for sewing and packaging accessories in coordination with suppliers.
• Create, update, maintain and distribute accessory specifications.
• Generate SKU codes and manage item setup requests.
• Coordinate delivery of Trim Cards to manufacturing plants and control related documentation.
• Prepare and supply accessories for sample requests.
• Provide support to all development teams and manufacturing locations.

Required profile

• Industrial Engineering degree (preferred) or university student with basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and product development.
• 0‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.
• Bilingual capability (required).
