About the role

The Packaging Development Engineer (DDP) will be responsible for creating, updating and managing packaging specifications across all business units. This role supports the development and validation of packaging solutions for new and existing apparel styles, ensuring alignment with quality, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update, maintain and distribute packaging specifications for all business units.
• Generate SKU codes and manage configuration requests for new or updated specifications.
• Perform packaging validation for new styles or modifications to existing styles at sewing and packaging facilities.
• Maintain the packaging database and continuously follow up on new sewing accessories and packaging developments.
• Update packaging libraries and the global packaging platform.
• Review and validate new Value‑Added Services (VAS) requirements, ensuring correct packaging specifications are created.
• Distribute packaging specifications promptly to manufacturing plants and relevant departments.
• Provide support to development teams and manufacturing locations.
• Comply with the Global Quality System (GQS) and execute health, safety and environmental programs.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred) or a student in the field with basic knowledge of packaging processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Understanding of quality, safety and environmental standards in manufacturing.
