IT Coordinator

About the role

Escuela Santa María del Valle is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Coordinator to join its team in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. This on‑site position will be responsible for supporting staff and users, strengthening a reliable, secure, and efficient technology environment across the institution. The coordinator will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure and security systems. The role offers the opportunity to apply technical expertise in networking, hardware, software, and information security within an educational setting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Previous experience in IT support and technology infrastructure.
• Experience with surveillance cameras, CCTV and security systems.
• Knowledge of networking, computer hardware and software.
• Experience managing and maintaining information security systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Organized, responsible and proactive attitude.
• Ability to provide technical support to staff and users.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred).
