IT Electronic Security Administrator

About the role

The IT Electronic Security Administrator is responsible for configuring, integrating, and maintaining IP‑based security systems such as cameras, access control, and alarms, as well as the supporting cabling infrastructure across data centers and telecom rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and execute minor and major installations of security IP devices and cabling, ensuring compliance with company standards and audit requirements.
• Design and optimise security system layouts and network upgrade/replacement plans for security devices and fibre/ethernet infrastructure.
• Manage operational (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) budgets, forecast funding, and define equipment lifecycle and maintenance strategies.
• Lead vendor management, ensuring technical specifications, procurement standards, and implementation timelines are met.
• Enforce IT policies, create SOPs for audit readiness, and support cybersecurity‑aligned infrastructure solutions.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in infrastructure or security systems, with a focus on IP security devices, datacenter, and telecom environments.
• Strong technical problem‑solving skills, able to resolve complex issues related to security servers, cameras, access control, and network cabling.
• Decision‑making ability to analyse complex problems and propose effective solutions.
