IT Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the role

The IT Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites that ensure the stability and reliability of our software products. Working closely with QA, development, product, and business teams, you will help drive continuous testing and defect detection across the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable, reusable automated test scripts for functional, regression, UI, and API testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) to enable frequent, reliable test execution.
• Review test results, document execution status, investigate failures, and report defects using tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Identify manual test scenarios that can be automated and expand automation coverage.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to validate integrations and support production release validation.
• Provide dashboards and metrics on automation progress, coverage, and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on QA automation experience.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum development practices.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Automation tools: Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium.
• API testing tools: Postman, SoapUI.
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions or similar.
• Test management: Jira, TestRail, Xray, Zephyr.
• Experience with AI‑assisted testing tools (any).
• Knowledge of mobile automation on iOS and Android (optional).
