About the role
The company is seeking a qualified Quality Manager and Coffee Taster to oversee and execute coffee quality control throughout the entire purchasing and production chain. The role ensures that raw material selection, storage conditions, and handling meet the standards set by senior management, preserving product quality and preventing deterioration.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and perform quality control checks on coffee from acquisition to final production.
- Verify that raw coffee beans meet high‑quality specifications.
- Advise on optimal storage conditions to maintain product integrity.
- Implement and monitor procedures that prevent quality loss during handling.
- Collaborate with management to align quality standards with business objectives.
Required profile
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Agribusiness or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading a coffee quality control team.
- Strong analytical, physical and sensory evaluation abilities.
- Holder of a Q Grader certification.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Villanueva, Cortés, Honduras.
