Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will manage the booking and scheduling of all shipments for the assigned account team. You will act as a liaison between account executives, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and profitable deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Book and schedule shipments for the assigned account team.
• Understand and monitor profitability metrics such as revenue, net revenue, load counts, and variance to targets.
• Communicate directly with Account Executives and leadership on shipment status.
• Utilize internal systems and tools to locate and secure equipment for customer shipments.
• Assign carriers, develop core carrier relationships, and limit reliance on load boards.
• Post available shipments to the internal load board and select carriers based on service levels and profitability.
• Negotiate carrier rates within target ranges.
• Ensure daily shipment coverage and monitor carrier performance, reporting any failures.
• Maintain productive relationships with customers, motor carriers, and internal teams.
• Perform other duties as required by business needs.

Required profile

• Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Accurate data‑entry capabilities.
• Clear communication with internal and external customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Analytical problem‑solver with a passion for excellent customer service.
• No prior logistics experience required; training will be provided.
