Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Aptiv is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement manufacturing systems for new automotive products. You will ensure that production processes meet quality, safety, capacity, and cost targets while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and promote a safe work environment.
• Develop manufacturing systems that meet quality, safety, and customer‑required capacity, documented through CPK and R&R.
• Coordinate preparation of MSD and design plant layout, engineering operating system, time‑and‑motion studies, Kaizen, ergonomics, operating methods, visual aids, and packaging methods.
• Start up and implement manufacturing systems in line with BOP, DFM, MSD, safety, and ergonomics guidelines.
• Release new processes and tools, and support continuous improvement and cost‑reduction projects.
• Manage engineering activities according to EOS.

Required profile

• Completed bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with core manufacturing tools and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of ergonomics and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a cross‑functional, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Core Tools (Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, PPAP, Control Plan).
• PFMEA AIAG‑VDA.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Standardized work techniques.
• Ergonomics and safety expertise.
