About the role
We are looking for a Deck Sailor to join our crew and ensure the safety and smooth operation of daily activities aboard the vessel. The successful candidate will work closely with other departments to maintain efficient shipboard operations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise deck crew and enforce safety procedures.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo operations.
- Maintain and repair deck installations and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of the ship and its gear.
- Participate in emergency teams and drill simulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall efficiency.
Required profile
- Completed maritime courses or equivalent training.
- Previous experience in navigation and maritime operations.
- Knowledge of maritime safety regulations.
- Ability to work in challenging environments and under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel and work night shifts.
