About the role

Lear Corporation is seeking a Methods Engineer for its Santa Elena plant in Honduras. The role focuses on implementing the Engineering Manual for new product launches and engineering changes, aiming for zero‑defect production.

Key responsibilities

Provide engineering samples and support prototype and pilot runs.
Develop precise work content and an optimal production plan.
Complete pre‑planning following the Engineering Manual instructions.
Determine tooling and equipment requirements for product launches or engineering changes.
Release, start‑up and monitor new programs, identifying and resolving issues per the manual.
Maintain all required records and documentation.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in engineering processes.
