About the role

World Vision is seeking a passionate Communications Officer to lead the communication strategy and visibility of its WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) programme. The role will help translate technical information into inspiring stories that advance the organization’s mission to protect vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the communication and visibility strategy for the WASH programme.
• Position World Vision institutionally, support advocacy efforts and mobilize resources.
• Create compelling narratives, impact stories and digital content that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Produce visual and audiovisual materials, including photography and video, to showcase programme achievements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in social, institutional or development‑project communication.
• Willingness to travel within the country and ability to operate a 4×4 vehicle.
• Intermediate English proficiency is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with design and audiovisual tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator and Canva.
• Experience in photography, video production, impact storytelling and digital communication.
