About the role

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is seeking a Project Officer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) system and ICT4D components for its Diversification and Income Generation (DIG) project in La Paz, Honduras. The officer will work closely with CRS project teams, local partners, and community members to ensure high‑quality data collection, analysis, and knowledge sharing that supports vulnerable populations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor all MEAL activities for the DIG project, ensuring timelines and agency policies are met.
• Facilitate communication and information exchange on MEAL and ICT4D between project staff, implementing partners, and community participants.
• Design data‑collection instruments, oversee data quality assurance, and manage project databases.
• Organize analysis meetings and reflective discussions on monitoring data, project goals, and indicators.
• Provide technical support for project work plans and assist related agriculture projects with MEAL systems as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in MEAL, monitoring and evaluation, or ICT4D within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with local partners and community groups.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
