Production Planner

About the role

This full‑time position is based in the production buildings in Villanueva, Cortes. The Production Planner develops monthly production plans and weekly schedules, balancing demand, capacity, materials and operational priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage monthly production plans and weekly schedules based on demand, capacity and material availability.
• Monitor daily production performance to ensure efficient execution and target achievement.
• Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Quality, Purchasing, Product Development and Corporate Planning to align priorities.
• Verify material and supply availability to avoid delays.
• Monitor WIP inventory levels and recommend adjustments.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions.
• Analyze forecasts, capacity and constraints to adjust schedules.
• Track production orders, investigate discrepancies and follow up on delays.
• Communicate schedule changes and priorities to supervisors and stakeholders.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on productivity, lead times, resource optimization and quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and ISO quality standards.

Required profile

• University student pursuing Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 3 years of production planning experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Conversational English proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems, databases and inventory control.
