Project Assistant

About the role

Galeas Arquitectos is seeking a Project Assistant to provide technical, operational, and documentary support to the Site Resident. The role involves on‑site measurement, data consolidation, and documentation management to ensure smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Take field measurements of physical progress, executed quantities and detect variations.
• Consolidate progress data from contractors, crews and suppliers into project reports.
• Organize the technical archive (reports, photos, measurements, logs).
• Prepare and present construction status reports for the Site Resident.
• Issue material, supply and equipment requests and verify receipt.
• Control site inventory, recording receipts, consumption and material exits.
• Coordinate access and stay of suppliers and contractors on site.
• Walk work fronts to verify progress, resources and operating conditions.
• Record operational incidents for corrective action.
• Manage document flow and version control of drawings during execution.
• Prepare technical documentation for As‑Built drawings.

Required profile

• Technical background in Construction or advanced student in Civil Engineering/Architecture, or related professional.
• Minimum 3 years experience in technical and operational support on construction sites.
• Knowledge of construction systems, plan reading, measurement taking and quantity control.
• Proficiency in Excel and office tools; basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow technical instructions and organize documentation.
