Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist

About the role

Stay'd is a fast‑growing consortium of short‑term rental management companies. As a Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist you will partner with the Talent & People Operations Specialist to drive full‑cycle recruitment, lead the onboarding experience and ensure new‑hire compliance across all member companies.

Key responsibilities

• Partner on full‑cycle recruiting: source, screen, schedule interviews and keep pipelines full for multiple brands and markets.
• Maintain the ATS, keep candidate records up‑to‑date and ensure a rapid, high‑quality candidate experience.
• Lead end‑to‑end onboarding: coordinate start dates, set up accounts and tools, act as the primary point of contact for new hires during their first weeks.
• Own new‑hire compliance: collect, verify and track I‑9 documentation, keep employee records audit‑ready and flag gaps before they become issues.
• Support the HR Director on ad‑hoc projects and continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, HR or a related function.
• Hands‑on experience with US new‑hire compliance (I‑9, onboarding paperwork).
• Highly organized, detail‑obsessed and comfortable managing multiple trackers and deadlines.
• Strong collaborator who works well in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
• Available to work US Eastern Time business hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Daily use of AI tools for automation and productivity.
