Senior AI & Data Governance Analyst

About the role

Join a leading technology services firm to build and operate an enterprise‑wide data catalog that supports AI readiness. You will work closely with senior leadership, shaping governance, metrics, and responsible AI practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the enterprise data catalog, including metadata management, data quality, and lineage.
• Apply governance policies consistently across data assets and align AI governance with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
• Create governance metrics, AI readiness score reporting and dashboards in Power BI.
• Support governance around Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Copilot, and contribute to change management and governance council administration.
• Engage consultatively with senior stakeholders, providing strategic input rather than just execution.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data catalog operations, metadata management, data quality, and lineage.
• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, especially the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
• Strong consultative communication skills and ability to interact confidently with senior leadership.
• Upper‑intermediate proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Power BI for governance metrics and reporting.
• Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Copilot governance.
• Experience with modern data catalog tools such as Atlan, Collibra, Alation, or Informatica.
• SQL for validating catalog data.
• Familiarity with Databricks.
