Senior Auditor – San Pedro Sula

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Auditor to lead audit activities across our branches in San Pedro Sula. The role involves planning, executing and supervising internal, administrative and financial audits to ensure compliance with company policies and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual audit plan, coordinating audits in multiple locations.
• Assess internal controls, policies and procedures, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Validate the integrity and traceability of financial, administrative and operational data.
• Identify emerging risks and propose optimization opportunities.
• Prepare executive audit reports with clear findings and strategic recommendations.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective action plans.
• Conduct special audits, physical inventory counts and liaise with external audit firms.
• Provide internal consulting to business units on control design and asset protection.
• Promote compliance with regulatory frameworks, corporate policies and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in internal, administrative or financial audit.
• Strong knowledge of internal control, administrative and financial processes, inventories and accounts receivable.
• Ability to handle confidential information and travel to branch locations.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Familiarity with ERP or other administrative systems (preferred).
